Morning Watch

Morning Watch is time of individual Bible study and prayer to begin the day. Campers use study booklets that relate to their Bible Ex for the week.

Cabin Time

After a day pursuing their daily personal activities, cabin groups spend an hour together each day enjoying a different they plan. Favorite cabin time activities include counselor dress-up, hikes, and swimming!

Bible Exploration

Bible Exploration (Bible Ex) is a daily cabin Bible study led by the counselor. Campers are encouraged to interact with God’s word through skits, discussion, activities, and journaling.

Evening Programs

Every day after dinner, campers have a special group activity. Evenings might include divisional or all-camp activities such as games, an all-camp swim, a scavenger hunt, or a unique activity created by our imaginative staff. On Tuesdays, cabin groups prepare their own dinner over a campfire. You can count on any evening at camp ending around a campfire with voices raised in song and sharing.

Devotions

Just before bedtime, every cabin group gathers to reminisce about the day and share a devotional and prayer time. Reflecting on how we’ve seen God work is the perfect way to end the day.

Friday Night Candles

At the end of each session, campers take part in a Cedarbrook tradition - the Candle Ceremony. Out under the stars of the soccer field, campers and staff share how they have grown throughout their time at camp. Our Director, Ellie, reminds everyone of the importance of the truths they have learned as we all receive and light candles. We end our time together singing “Pass it On” and “Cedarbrook’s Shining Waters.”

“At Camp Cedarbrook the girls feel free and affirmed and so happy to be immersed in peers, held in God’s love, surrounded by a canopy of nature, and they get to explore activities that help them grow. It’s the best combo to help a girl learn who she is and learn the power of God’s love.”
