My heart longs for Easter and to celebrate our risen Lord. It takes daily discipline to live the Christian life in the “already but not yet” - as we know Christ is risen and we await his return. Thankfully, God has given us plenty of reminders through the Church calendar with celebrations like Easter that pull us out of the daily grind and remind us that the battle is won!
I’m so excited to share this joy and good news with campers this summer which is just around the corner! We will launch our “40 Days of Prayer” on April 28 leading up to staff training. Last year, we saw God answer our prayers in amazing ways and we know He will show up again this year! I hope you’ll join us and set your alarm for 9:35am (first bugle!) to pray for camp each day.
The verse above is our summer theme verse! It will guide many campfire messages and provide us with an anchor spiritually to focus our hearts on God’s character. We’ll pair our theme verse with the song “Awesome God.”
While many of our staff positions are filling in - we are still looking for the head nurse. This position is required to run camp! Ideally, our nurse will be at camp the whole summer, however we could rotate nurses throughout the summer. Are you the perfect candidate? Do you know someone who is? Talk to us!
Our final Zoom Info night is Thursday, April 27 - forward this on to friends you know who are interested in camp. Space will start to become limited in certain age groups (more info below) as we get closer to summer.
Stay tuned for the amazing things God will do through Camp Cedarbrook this summer!
