Since my last update - the snow has melted, fallen again, and melted once more! It’s hard to believe that we will welcome campers back in 73 days!
I've noticed numerous news articles lately highlighting the harmful impact of cell phones and social media on today's youth. While not surprising, it's good to see this issue getting attention. Summer camp remains one of the few places where young people can disconnect and connect with others in a safe environment. I'm grateful that Camp Cedarbrook's mission remains unchanged and is still vital, especially for girls today. It's inspiring to witness how a week at camp can allow God to help girls rediscover their true worth and identity in Christ.
There are may ways you can support Cedarbrook from near and far as we gear up for our 59th summer of ministry:
Come up to camp for our Memorial Day Work Weekend (May 24-27)! We need volunteers of all ages and abilities to open up camp. Sign up here.
Lift up the ministry of Cedarbrook in prayer through our 40 days of prayer, beginning Friday, April 26. We will post specific requests on social media and our website. Set your alarm for 9:35am!
Give a gift to our scholarship fund that directly supports campers who have financial need this summer. Send a girl to camp!
April 25 is our last Zoom Info Night. Please share this event with families who want to know more about Cedarbrook.
Our Cedarbrook staff team is coming together - what a joy it is to see God provide! We are still looking for 5 counselors, a special diets cook, assistant cook, and nurse assistant. Who do you know who can join us? Spread the word!
In Christ,
