Happy New Year from Camp Cedarbrook! 2023 is here and the countdown to summer is on!
We are so thankful to all of our donors who gave to camp at year-end - thank you! We continue to need gifts to our Next Generation Fund and Scholarships as we approach our camp season, especially monthly donors. In addition, we have our Healthy Buildings for a Healthy Future campaign ongoing that is raising funds for a new Health Hut and staff family cabins. Find out more on our website.
Summer staff hiring is in full swing and we had a record-breaking 26 return staff applicants apply before December 31 - woohoo! Our biggest staffing needs include counselors and a head nurse. If you know someone who would be a good fit, please send them our way. The head nurse needs to be a licensed RN or higher in New York state.
Camper registration opened on December 1 and we love seeing campers signing up for a life-changing summer! If you have families that want to know more about camp, we are hosting Zoom info nights each month starting January, 30. More info here.
Camp can seem far away at this time of year, so please pray for our campers and staff that they would be encouraged to keep following Jesus and that they would be reminded today of something they learned at camp. Feel free to enjoy some of our videos from summer 2023 on our YouTube channel. You can almost smell the pine trees!
