Staff are here and things are happening! It is so exciting to prepare once again for campers to return to Cedarbrook.
One of the things we talk about in staff training is being an "Ideal Team Player" from the book by Patrick Lencioni. In it, he describes an ideal team player as someone who is: humble, hungry, and smart. When taking the self-assessment yesterday, I realized that humility is my weakest of the three, ouch!
Among other things, a humble person will know when and how to ask for help. So, as I strive to grow in humility, in this email you will find a variety of ways you can help Cedarbrook this summer! We know if takes a village to run Camp Cedarbrook and you are a part of that village

Several of our activity areas need funds this summer to replace equipment and provide for easier COVID compliance. We're asking for $10,000 in gifts to our Next Generation Fund that will support the following priorities:
- Lifejackets
- Waterfront materials including a rescue board and lifeguarding tubes
- Mattresses
- Tent tarps

VOLUNTEER AT CAMP THIS SUMMER

We need extra volunteers this summer to support our operations. Consider joining us for a day, weekend, week or a more as a volunteer in a variety of areas. Email Hannah for more details.
- Kitchen
- Every week!
- Help prepare food, cleanup
- Bus chaperone
- Sundays 6am-2pm (7/4, 7/11, 7/18)
- Saturdays 8am-4pm (7/10, 7/17, 7/31)
- Ride the bus with campers and supervise
- Stayovers
- Saturday 12pm-Sunday 12pm
- Help with stayover camper supervision and activities
- Camper drop off
- Sundays (10-2)
- Assist in making parents feel welcome, handling camper intake
- Office
- Every week!
- Answering phones, making copies, playing the bugle!
