⛺ Camp Cedarbrook October Newsletter

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
Matthew 22:37-40 NIV

The camp van had ice on it the other day, which means we’ve officially entered the off-season! While summer may feel far away, our team is hard at work planning and preparing for 2025—our 60th year of ministry!

Speaking of our 60th year, have you marked your calendar for Alumni Weekend, June 6-8? We’d love to see you and your family there! To help us plan an unforgettable weekend, please take a few minutes to fill out our event survey.

I’ve been so encouraged by the support and connection in our Alumni Facebook Group, especially during the recent hurricanes. It’s a place where Cedarbrook/Cherith alumni can pray for one another and stay connected. If you’re not already a part of the group, join today! You’re never far from your camp family.

We are excited to announce that our staff application is open! If you know any amazing potential team members, please send them our way—they won’t want to miss out on what could be the best summer ever.

One of our staff members shared this on their end-of-summer survey:

“Camp Cedarbrook has changed my life. There is nowhere else I would rather be in the summer. You are practicing Acts 2 every day: devoting yourself to the teaching, the fellowship, the breaking of bread, and to prayer.”

Let the countdown to summer begin!

In Christ,

Amy “Ellie” Culhane
Executive Director

P.S. If you missed out on summer or just want to relive the memories, we have weekly recap videos on YouTube!
